Halle Berry has secured a victory in her ongoing custody battle with ex-husband Olivier Martinez. The latest development in their legal saga involved a dispute over mandatory co-parenting therapy sessions.
The disagreement began earlier this year when Berry alleged that Martinez was attempting to take a break from their required therapy sessions. In response, she sought the court’s intervention to ensure that he continued participating in the sessions.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the judge ruled in favor of Berry. However, it was noted that Martinez had already complied with the therapy requirements after Berry took legal action.
This decision marks a win for Berry in the lengthy legal process, which began after the couple's divorce was finalized in August 2023. Berry and Martinez, who were married from 2013 to 2016, share an 11-year-old son, Maceo.
Additionally, the judge ordered that both Berry and Martinez refrain from discussing custody matters or making negative comments about each other or their current partners in front of their son. This ruling aims to protect Maceo from being drawn into the legal conflicts between his parents.
