Annie Kilner, the estranged wife of Manchester City defender Kyle Walker, has reportedly met with lawyers to discuss potential legal proceedings aimed at ending their marriage. This development follows claims that she has issued the footballer a £15 million ultimatum regarding their home, amid allegations of his infidelities.
Kilner, 33, who married Walker in 2021, is said to have reconsidered their relationship following the revelation of his paternity scandal involving influencer Lauryn Goodman, with whom he has secretly fathered two children. Reports indicate that Kilner is willing to give their marriage another chance only if there is a clear agreement concerning their estimated £27 million fortune.
Sources suggest that Kilner has sought preliminary legal advice in anticipation of a possible split that could see her claim half of Walker's earnings, which amount to approximately £150,000 a week.
An insider told The Sun, "Annie is prepared to go through with it. She isn't messing about and has spoken to lawyers about what the future looks like. Divorce has been an ever-present threat all year, but things are starting to come to a head."
The couple shares four children: Roman, 11, Riaan, seven, Reign, five, and five-month-old Rezon. Walker also has two children, Kinara, 13 months, and Kairo, four, with Goodman. The couple's tumultuous relationship has seen its share of challenges, including Walker's alleged affairs with reality TV star Laura Brown in 2019 and his ongoing disputes with Goodman.
A source revealed to The Sun, "Annie married Kyle for love, but she also knew she had to do it to secure a financial windfall for herself and their children. She has been formulating a get-out plan for some time in terms of finances. Annie is actually very astute and is no one’s fool."
Despite the tension, the couple is reportedly living together while attempting to navigate their marital issues and establish a new routine. They are said to be open to discussions about financial security for Kilner and their children, prioritising their well-being above all else.
