Ojani Noa, the ex-husband of actress Jennifer Lopez, has placed some of the blame for their brief marriage's demise on Sean "Diddy" Combs. In a recent appearance on Despierta America, the 50-year-old actor opened up about the end of his relationship with Lopez, asserting that Combs played a role in their divorce.
Noa claimed that when Lopez received a significant contract from Sony for her debut album, On The 6, Diddy was involved as a producer for several tracks. He stated, “That’s where the deception, the lies, the separation started.” He explained that while he was in Los Angeles opening a restaurant, Lopez was traveling between Miami and New York to work on her music, which contributed to their growing distance.
Reflecting on their split, Noa expressed confusion and hurt, asking, “What did I do to you so that you have taken me to court, you have accused me, you have lied, you have created false things about me?” He further alleged that the fallout from their divorce negatively impacted his career, leading to lost job opportunities.
Noa and Lopez were married for a brief period from 1997 to 1998. Following their separation, Lopez dated Diddy from 1999 to 2001. She has since been married to Cris Judd from 2001 to 2003, Marc Anthony from 2004 to 2014, and most recently to Ben Affleck, from whom she is currently finalizing a divorce after two years of marriage.
Meanwhile, Diddy is facing serious allegations of sexual abuse dating back to the 1990s, including accusations of drugging a 13-year-old girl in 2000 and raping a man in 2022.
