Paul Pogba Reveals Desire to Leave Manchester United in 2019 Due to Lack of Progress

Actress Anna Kendrick, 39, has once again opened up about her perspective on motherhood. Known for her candid thoughts on the topic, Kendrick previously expressed her stance in her 2016 memoir Scrappy Little Nobody, where she stated, "Motherhood isn’t for me." In a recent conversation with Flow Space, published on October 16, Kendrick revisited the subject, reflecting on a common phrase used by men when talking about their desire for children.

Kendrick highlighted the casual way some men discuss wanting kids, noting, "I've heard men say things like, ‘Yeah, maybe one day — a couple of kids running around,’ but I don’t think I’ve ever heard a woman say that." She pointed out that this phrase evokes a very specific image: "It paints a visual of coming home after work, with a cocktail in hand, a woman in a dress tending to children playing in the yard."

Challenging this imagery, Kendrick asked, "Where are you in that, sir?" She went on to express her frustration with this idea, comparing it to how husbands often describe "helping out" with the kids, even when both parents are working.

While Kendrick admits she sometimes wants to share her opinions with her friends who are moms, she holds back, acknowledging, "I’m the childless cat lady, so I’m not gonna say anything."

Kendrick’s comments come after earlier remarks in response to JD Vance’s criticism of "childless cat ladies." Speaking with The Guardian, Kendrick said, "I don’t ever think about having kids, so I guess I spend just as little time thinking about weaponizing that." She humorously added that after adopting a pet cat, she thought, "Why would anyone trust me with a kid?"

Through her words, Kendrick continues to embrace her decision not to have children, challenging traditional views on motherhood while maintaining her witty and self-aware approach.
