Sean "Diddy" Combs will remain behind bars after a judge denied his motion for bail. In a written decision, Judge Arun Subramanian stated that Combs failed to meet the legal standard necessary for release. This ruling follows a request from Combs’ legal team for his release ahead of his upcoming sentencing on October 3.
While Combs was acquitted last month of the more serious charges of sex trafficking and racketeering, he was found guilty on two lesser counts related to transporting individuals for prostitution. Prosecutors are now recommending a sentence of four to five years, which would include the nearly 11 months he has already served since his arrest in September 2024.
